What I've Done.
After graduation from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s Upper West Side campus, I immersed myself in the musical theatre industry – working at some of the nation’s top regional theatres including Goodspeed Opera House, The Rev Theatre Company, and North Carolina Theatre - all of which lead the industry in original works and educational outreach.
I've had the opportunity to travel the country twice in touring productions – once in the revival of Elf the Musical, and once in the Tony Award Winning Broadway Musical The Book of Mormon.
I've also had the opportunity to travel the seas aboard the Disney Fantasy – The Walt Disney Company’s newest cruise ship, as a main stage entertainer in brand new works, while also developing customer service and leadership skills as a character host and assembly team safety officer.
While anchored in New York City, I was grateful to have a growing professional relationship with Overland Entertainment – an events services company.
While there, I served as Event Staff, Event Team Lead, Front of House Manager, Scheduling and Staffing Administrator, and Event Administrator on numerous projects throughout the city including The Global Citizen Festival, The New Yorker Festival, and Backyard at Hudson Yards.
With Overland, I have developed collaborative skills, customer service, creative development, and logistical and administrative practices – all while working in an environment that rewards individuality and personal development.
With minor career setbacks in 2020, I committed to learning and developing new skills. I’ve added marketing certifications, writing courses, and sales based jobs to my arsenal, all while anchoring my development around communication and relationship building. The learning continues.
I am always in pursuit of new ways to learn and grow, and always welcome conversations about career development.
